What happens at the end of "A Christmas Carol"?
My daughter has to write a 10-16 sentence book report on it, and I’ve never even HEARD of it!!
"The following takes place in London on christmas eve"
Scrooge is a bad miser who taxes people to poverty and starvation.
His greed is so great that one night his dead business partners visit him and say he shall be visited by 3 spirits, who will help him see the error of his ways.
Scrooge sleeps and meets #1, the ghost of christmas past. she shows him what a miserable life he had and how he pushed everyone away.
After some wallowing in despair Scrooge is sent home and falls back asleep.
He then meets #2, the ghost of christmas present. He takes Scrooge a few hours into the future and shows him families and coworkers who have wonderful christmases, even though most of them have been taxed to the point where all they really have is each other.
this ghost is meant to show hope and happiness.
Scrooge falls asleep again… and meets #3 the ghost of christmas yet to come. It takes scrooge way into the future, where everyone is happy that someone is dead. After a great deal of beating around the bush it is revealed that Scrooge is the one who died, all alone, and no on seems to care, boo hoo.
Scrooge realizes this is awful, to have lived in a way where your life only brings misery and no joy to others, and begs the third spirit for a second chance.
Scrooge then wakes up at home in bed on christmas morning, struck with an epiphany, basically. HE vows to change his ways and be more generous, yada yada.
He then skips off like a merry school girl to Bob Cratchet’s house, where it is revealed that Bob’s youngest son, tiny tim, is sick, but HOORAY, scrooge and his money shall make everything right again.
Scrooge buys a turkey the size of Tiny Tim, and he and his coworker Bob Cratchet, and Bob’s family all have a happy christmas.

A Christmas Carol is one of the most well-known Christmas books ever written by Charles Dickens. It’s somewhat surprising you haven’t heard of it. Basically, the main character changes his lifestyle and becomes a likable man who has realizied the true values of life.
