IMDB rating: 7.40

Plot: Germany in the 1970s: Murderous bomb attacks, the threat of terrorism and the fear of the enemy inside are rocking the very foundations of the yet fragile German democracy. The radicalised children of the Nazi generation lead by Andreas Baader, Ulrike Meinhof and Gudrun Ensslin are fighting a violent war against what they perceive as the new face of fascism: American imperialism supported by the German establishment, many of whom have a Nazi past. Their aim is to create a more human society but by employing inhuman means they not only spread terror and bloodshed, they also lose their own humanity. The man who understands them is also their hunter: the head of the German police force Horst Herold. And while he succeeds in his relentless pursuit of the young terrorists, he knows he’s only dealing with the tip of the iceberg.

Plot: John Marion Stryker is the ultimate Marine, a tough rifle squad leader who in 1943 is assigned a squad of new recruits saddled with three veterans and an old enemy of Stryker’s from previous duties in the Far East. One recruit in particlar is a source of friction with Stryker, Peter Conway, whose father was Stryker’s CO at Guadalcanal and who felt his son was too soft and cowardly to be a Marine. The squad grows more and more resentful at Stryker’s increasingly brutal training regimen and his lack of sympathy for the varied personal problems of the recruits, but his determination to mold them into fighting men helps save their lives when the squad is landed at Tarawa in November 1943 and Stryker risks his life to blow up a Japanese bunker that has slaughtered Marines trapped at a log wall. The now battle-tested squad becomes more closely-knit and Stryker’s relationship with the men warms as the squad eventually finds itself in the bloodiest island battle of the war, at Iwo Jima.

To compensate, he keeps notes in a small notebook to aid him in remembering what he is to do. He also lives with a blind friend (Jeff Daniels) who aids him. Obviously, with the mental incapacitation, he is unable to have meaningful work. Thus he works as a night cleaning man in a bank. It is there he comes under the scrutiny of a gang planning to rob the bank. The leader (Matthew Goode) befriends him and gets him involved with a young woman (Isla Fisher) who further reels him in. After they get close and after reeling him in with his own failures, the bank plan unfolds. Confused but wanting to escape his current existence, he initially goes along with the scheme. After realizing he is being used, he attempts to stop the robbery, which of course immediately goes awry. Bruce McGill and Alberta Watson also co-star as the young man’s parents, who still search for the person that was there before the tragic crash.

Movie help??????????????
I remember watching a movie quite a few years back and would like to know if anyone knows what it is called. I remember that there were two teenage boys, best friends, and the one boy was troubled…hated his father (or step father) so they plan to murder him. As the boy goes upstairs and shoots his father in the head while sleeping, his friend (who was with a shotgun downstairs on the lookout) accidentally shoots his friends mother who walked into the house. I remember them both going to prison but the troubled boy swears he will kill his friend for killing his mother.

Does this ring a bell for anyone??

i think it is illegal to watch or download from the internet.
And while he succeeds in his relentless pursuit of the young terrorists, he knows he’s only dealing with the tip of the iceberg.

please help me.it's a really serious problem?
I am 22, and in my final year of engineering.till my school days i was very shy and reserved, maybe because of my physical appearance,i don’t look my age, i am 22 but still i look like a kid and am thin, just 5′5".I carried this shyness to my college also but in my first year of college itself i felt the need of having a gf which i never had till my school.since i wanted a gf i started using my mobile to chat with girls, once i also made a fake profile of a girl since i thought that the boys are much into girls than the other way around, but then a girl messaged me along with her mobile no. and i confessed through a message that i was a boy and not a girl and realized my mistake and then just made a real profile and started to search for a girl to talk to,i tried very much but with no success i slowly minimized it and after that completely stopped it in my second year.
But now the real problem starts at almost the end of third year.i again felt the need of having a gf so i started chatting on yahoo messenger and in just 2-3 days i got a girl from mumbai to talk,i also started liking her a bit and then i started thinking that i can easily get girls to talk on messenger so i become addicted to chatting in messenger and whenever that girl was offline i would make myself appear invisible to her and then find another girl to chat, she went to her hometown in her holidays so i started chatting with other girls, talked to one girl ,then made her friend and then after a talk made myself invisible to that girl and then talk to another girl since i was little confused about what to talk on the second chat and this procedure i repeated for more than 50 girls, though i don’t even know whether they were really girls or just guys behaving as gals as i didn’t see any of them on cam nor their picture,i also mailed a few of them (5-6 girls) and whenever i mailed a girl i erased the name of other girls as i thought that if a girl saw names of other girls whom i have sent mails to she would break the friendship with me.so just kept the name of just only that girl and all other girls names just erased and same procedure for the other 5-6 girls.the girl from mumbai was a girl since i saw her profile on orkut and one day when she came back to mumbai she chatted with me for about 10 mins and then i had to go so i just said i will talk to u later and expected a bye from her first(i didn’t type anything for a minute nor she) but she just signed out without any reply and never talked with me again, but i forgot her and as usual was chatting with other girls(that same more than 50 girls, actually 50 girls thing happened after my last talk with her).at last i didn’t find any gf just a simple waste of time.
Now i just want to ask whether i have done wrong with all these girls though i really don’t know whether they were really girls or not.i am having the feeling now that i don’t deserve a gf,in fact don’t even deserve to marry because of these silly acts of mine.i just want you to tell me whether i really deserve to get married ever in my life after doing such wrong things with girls, though it was not intentional just wanted the love of a girl.please just write in your honest views, whatever you think, whether i deserve to get married or not, whether i have done wrong with girls or not.enjoy life.
i think you people who are interested in psychology can make out why i behaved like this and really tell me whether i did a wrong thing or not, even i am intersted in psychology but not able to solve my problem.

The real problem you have is with your self image, not girls. Until you can learn to be comfortable in your own skin, no one else will be comfortable with you. You’ve made some stupid mistakes, but nothing worth beating yourself up over. Just learn from them. Then accept you for who you are; make peace with yourself and be honest with the world.
What’s the problem? Chatting with people online, or the fact you seem so desperate for a girlfriend?

Basically I don’t see a psychological problem here, I just see you trying to make up for the fact you’re insecure through the use of instant messaging. You seem to be basing your self-worth on if you have a girlfriend, when in fact that does not determine the person you are. Girls are attracted to confidence, especially by the time you reach your 20s – we want to know you have your sh*t together and we won’t have to play "Mommy" with you.

Instead, I think you should focus your life on your career and developing who you are as a person – and this includes focusing on your education. Gain a more stable sense of self, and more people will react to you in a positive manner. Who cares if you’re small? If a girl doesn’t want a small guy, she’ll move on. No loss to you. My brother is a small guy, and while he’s got the physique of a bodybuilder now, he’s still short by today’s standards – and guess what? He’s married. He’s confident, he knows what he wants out of life, he doesn’t bullshit other people, and he attracts women.

Work on YOU, not finding a girlfriend.
First and foremost the best woman to have is one that GOD would send you. HE knows everything about you and what kind of woman you really need. Go to HIM in private if you are ready to marry and ask HIM to send you a wife. Then go on about your busines in class and life and do the best you can because a woman costs money and you have to have a good job to support her and any children you might have. You don’t even have to worry about it at all HE will know when it is time. But when it happens don’t ever forget who sent her to you.
my dear, it looks like u r nuts. What marriage has to do with what u have done. Marriage is a culmination of two bodies & souls meeting each other. And then the question of GF; girls for boys & the same, boys for girls; are like a bus, if u miss one the other will come after some time.

So stop worrying and concentrate on your studies.
